TANDEM MASS TAGS (TMT)

TMT is an isobaric labeling method used in quantitative proteomics tandem  to determine the amount of proteins from different sources in a single experiment. It uses stable isotope labeled molecules that can be covalently bonded to the N-terminus and side chain amines of proteins.

 

Where the customer’s project requires covalent chemical labeling of peptides prior to analysis, we offer TMT as an approach for the quantitative proteomics analysis of multiple experimental samples in parallel.
